Just had my worktops fitted today. Job has gone from a building site, to nearly finished in half a day. Steve and Kev did a fantastic job, professionally finished, clean, tidy, super efficient. Glad I was recommended to this company.

I was recommended to Signature Surfaces by two of my friends, as they had both used the company before. I am so happy i went to them as the quality of materials, and level of finish are outstanding. My first contact was a very friendly lady on the telephone called Samantha. She was so knowledgeable and seemed to know what i was going to ask next, clearly very experienced and professional. She offered to open the showroom in Southport in the evening or at the weekend for us to view the actual worktops on display. Its quite a small showroom, but i have to say there seems to be one of everything in it, and certainly there was examples of exactly what we wanted to see, being the joints, mitred ends and the colour of our choice. Pricewise, this company was bang in the middle of the range of prices, but as we found out, they could charge more, for the service and quality provided. We booked in and was surprised that Samantha could get the templating done within a few days! The guys arrived promptly (early in fact) to template the worktops. I don’t know what i was expecting, but within minutes they had set up a tripod and fancy laser system, attached to a laptop, and began pinging the laser around the walls, which began drawing the shape of our worktops on the screen. The templater Steve, must have done this thousands of times, as he was clicking and operating the system, screen and laser almost by remote control. I was asking questions and he certainly had every answer, all whilst carrying on templating! it only took him 15 minutes to do the whole thing, and in that time my drawing was on screen, labelled and colour coded, all details printed and ready to send to the workshop for manufacture. Amazingly just 3 days later, my worktops were being fitted, by the same two guys that had templated them. Steve and Kevin, were so professional and took care to keep our kitchen clean and tidy, almost like clockwork the worktops were being placed into position, and they were fitting beautifully, very impressed! From start to finish it took 2.5 hrs, worktops, upstands and splashback fitted perfectly, silicone sealed, decorators caulked to rear edges, cleaned and polished, with a free chopping board too! These guys have a tool for everything, but most impressive is the electric, hydraulic joint setting thingy (i’m not sure what its called), but it suckers on both sides of the joint and once filled with glue, it pulls both pieces together, levels the top perfectly, and leaves an almost invisible micro joint, id say less than 1mm. Id viewed the joints in the showroom, and in other showrooms, but these are even better. I have no problem or hesitation in recommending this company as from start to finish, it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with them. I was not paid for this review, and left it on my own volition, as a thankyou to a great firm for a great job. Samantha, you did everything you said, but even better, you should be proud of your whole team.

This company are amazing!! Quick and efficient, I got my worktops done after seeing my son’s and realised the ones I had were rubbish. The kitchen now looks fantastic, very bright and I’m really proud of it, Steve gave me all the advice I needed and reassured me, and the tap position was moved from where I thought it should go to an even better place, 10/10 can’t do better than that.

I used signature surfaces as I was recommended by a colleague, Samantha was really helpful and as a result got my own kitchen done. I must say I’m very happy with the result and especially the workmanship, I took their advice and couldn’t be happier, so much so that my mother seen it and then got hers done to, which she is absolutely made up with and has now shown it to her friends who are all very impressed. I would definitely recommend using this company to anyone, nothing is to much trouble and the result is fantastic…it’s a big decision and can’t afford to get it wrong, so having the expertise is brilliant… very happy customer
